14 Apr 2016 - Model Railway workshops have been updated
15 Feb 2016 - I will be away on business from early Wed 17 Feb until late Mon 22 Feb. Although I may be able to receive e-mails in the evenings and should be able to confirm the order and stock position nothing will be posted until Tues 23 Feb. Sorry for the delay. I am working on a new list of workshops for 2016 but need the agreement of the tutors before I can publish
10th Aug 2015 - We now have our number 01427 848979 back and working. We have internet but there is a problem that may mean we loose it sometime. The more important thing at the moment is, if you have asked a question or requested something and had no reply please re-ask, as we may never have got it
24th July 2015 - Sorry but BT and Plusnet messed up both our internet access and phone line. We have none until 29 July, currently have internet acess and hence e-mails, and although we have a phone its the wrong number. If you need to contact us by phone please use 07857 923671. Normally switched off, it will be on until the problem is solved
30th July 2014 - New Products. With the pressure of work in maintaining stock, mail orders, and visiting over 40 exhibitions over the last 12 months we have got behind in adding new parts to this website. Today I have added 550 new model railway parts but with no pictures. If you need a picture or more info please ask. I will of course star to add them, but as with any thing you do as a 1 man business it takes time
2nd April 2013 - Postage changes. The Royal mail have done it again. They are making calculating postage more and more difficult every year. They have reduced the value of compensation if parcels are lost or damaged + added a new parcel banding limiting parcel to 80mm thick. The problem comes when you buy more than 1 item, (not that we are asking you to buy only one) however if our website overcharges you and we don't spot it. Please tell us and we will sort. Phil
18th April 2012 - FABRIC SAMPLES
To give customers the confidence with colours, we now offer sample 2.5inch sq's of each of our fabrics ( excludes panels) To stop customers taking unfair advantage of this offer we are charging 50p per sample (max 5 samples) + a first class stamp. The 50p is refundable against any purchase of that specific fabric. Payment by Debit card or cheque only. Relevant sample must be returned for refund.
