This a new version of our Ball bearing Hornblock. This version is made from a machined casting, giving you all the same benefits of our Mark 1 version but with cosmetic detail of webs and bolt detail.

This a complete kit of 2 CNC machined hornblocks, 2 NS shouds, 2 3/16" internal ball race bearings, nuts screws & springs, suitable for 1 axle of a 7mm ('0' Gauge) loco. The ball bearings give you a number of advantages, besides the low friction. The bearings can carry so much more weight without increasing the friction. This will give better adhesion, pickups, and inertia. Instructions are available on the "Links" webpage of this website.
