Loco Construction withTony Wright
You don't have to start a new loco, you can work on an unfinished one, or a coach, or a wagon. Tools, advice, materials are plentiful
Tony is the assistant editor of British Railway Modelling and has produced so many locos he has lost count. He has a very pragmatic, friendly, and humorous approach to everything, but has a great love of anything model railways. I on the other hand, is a trained engineer, with all the tools to show for it. I have been building loco kits since the early 70s. We have accommodation for those needing it, but home cooked lunches and refreshments are provided. At the last weekend Tony helped repair white metal castings, showed how to solder both small and large section white metal parts, helped with 3 new locos plus an '0' gauge loco, covered rolling and folding.
