Tony Sissons

"Tony is an accomplished modelmaker first and railway modeller second.  His work covers a myriad of subject matter ranging from the capability to build an exhibition layout, locomotives, rolling stock down to the finest scenic details.His Charlotte Road layout, originally built in the United States and subsequently shipped to the UK, and then enlarged with the help of the Wirral Finescale Railway Modellers group, of which Tony is now a member.  Tony writes occasionally for MRJ as well as the DEMU UPDate and Scalefour Society magazines.  Readers will be familiar with his discourse on his fully functional modern colour light signals he made for the Widnes Vine Yard layout described in the December 2006 issue of MRJ.  He has made masters for signal items for the MSE product range and there is more in the pipeline.  Tony also models US models to prototype standards and you can see some of his work on:
