Silver Steel has no silver but is a high carbon steel with a little Chrome addrd. It is ground to precise limits of approx 0.0005" undersize to exactly on size. It turns easliy but will harden and temper.

The length is approx 305mm (12 inch) long. However most of these sections can be purchased in either 1M (1000mm) or 1 yrd (36 inches") only to special order.
