Beginners, Loco and Kit Construction Workshop

This is a friendly relaxing weekend where you either start a new kit, or make a fresh start on an old one.

Although the weekend is about beginners but those with a little more experience are still welcome, you are more than welcome to come along learn soldering or build what ever you want with our help and assistance. Its hands on all the way, where you can spend 2 days at your own pace making what ever you want.

We have all the sophisticated tools and equipment you might need or want to have a go at. Although it would be useful for you to bring what small tools you have.

With an optional Friday nights evening meal and B&B we start Saturday at about 9.00, where you will meet like minded people wanting to learn and have a go at similar things. Hints , tips and practical help are plentiful. See how others do it, see what equipment is available. Drinks are provided all day with a light lunch at about 12.30. For those who live close, the accommodation and evening meal are completley optional

We also plan an optional evening meal for about 7.00 pm Saturday, but we could also point in the right direction for a good pub, or you could do both.

Following either a full english breakfast or something a bit lighter, we start again at 9.00, with drinks and lunch provided. At around 4.00 pm we wish you a safe journey home leaving us to clear up. Those wanting to take it easy can stop another night.
