Beginners patchwork with Jo Atkinson
Learn the do's and dont's of rotary cutting. Learn how to construct half-square and quarter-square triangles. During the weekend you will construct several blocks with which to make a quilt.
Requirements list:-
| Sewing machine with either, a movable needle or a quarter inch foot. |
| Spare Sewing Machine Needles. |
| Fat quarters of several co-ordinating fabrics |
| Fabric for sashing, borders and binding (quantity depending on quilt size) |
| Wadding and backing of a similar size to finished quilt. |
| Rotary cutter and cutting mat. |
| Thread, scissors, pins etc. |
All the above are available to purchase at the workshop
Those wishing to finish off other projects, are also welcome on this freindly easy going workshop.
